Parking our motorcycles in parking spaces outside our room was very good.
The food and service in your restaurant was delightful and made us feel very welcome in France.

The Pot d'Etain is the perfect distance both from Calais and going to Calais. Leaving the UK Its location puts you 160km into France so all of France is reachable the next day.
It is not a grand hotel but it is correct and clean and going to Calais it allows a rest after a long drive so the Channel Tunnel or Ferry is an easy 1.5 hour drive in the morning and you have most of the day to drive to any point in England or even Scotland.
Add to that the restaurant which, as the first French meal goi

The room was tired and in need of upgrading. Hairdryer didn’t work, towels were thin. There was only one bottle of mineral water for 2 people. It was supposed to be a suite with lounge. It was really just a bigger room with a sofa. The terrace was not private amd looked on to an unkempt garden area and opposite rooms. Breakfast was basic. We stayed on a Sunday night, the restaurant was closed and not even the bar was open to get a drink on arrival. I would not stay here again.

We have stayed at the hotel before. Service and general quality were great as we had expected. Our room was nice and spacious and the staff were very friendly. Dinner was very good value with a good choice of food and wine. Breakfast is a little over priced in comparison, but nonetheless good.

When faced with £170 for accommodation in Reims heading South from Calais , we noticed the hotel to the North of Reims, and we were greeted warmly, shown our room which was fantastic for £75.00. The restaurant was first class, and in short we had a fantastic Dinner Bed & Breakfast for £150.00 for 2 including fillet steak.

This is a regular stop-over travelling to and from Switzerland to the UK. We rate highly all aspects of the hotel, particularly the friendly staff. The only situation I have noted as disappointing below is in the bathroom. I have mentioned several times the lack of a 'grab handle' over the shower/bath that is really essential for older customers. The disappointment is that such a simple and cheap safety issue has not been followed up.

We have now stayed in this hotel twice en route from Switzerland and the UK. We will continue to use it as an overnight rest stop. The room was very comfortable with parking for the car motel-style right next to our room. Breakfast and the evening meal were excellent. Staff are very friendly. The only advice for improvement I would offer is that there should be a security hold-bar in the shower to help older customers access the bath-shower safely.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay en route to or from Calais, or even longer to explore the region. It is excellent to have the car next to the room, and the restaurant so close. The only problem was with access to the shower which is in a bath with high sides, and no safety handles to hold on to when climbing into and out of the bath.

il n'y avait qu'une seule bouteille d'eau pour 2 personnes
la porte et le verrouillage du 29 étaient cassés
le petit déjeuner était vraiment de mauvaise qualité et prix
le personnel discutait entre eux et n'était pas sympathique
pas de viande quand j'ai demandé à la dame, c'était fini, nous sommes arrivés à 8 heures du matin !!

Good location for autoroute. More a motel than a hotel. Restaurant served great food in the evening. Didn’t have breakfast because it was served too late for our departure. No WiFi in rooms due to storm damage but could access WiFi in the breakfast room. Some noise from wedding reception disco in the conference room which went on past midnight Rooms a bit dated but clean. Hairdryer was like a reverse vacuum cleaner but it worked.

A warm welcome when we arrived after a long journey. Could park outside our rooms which helped with luggage.
The rooms could have been aired prior to arrival.
We had two bedrooms with a nice outdoor terrace space. Both of our bathrooms could have been cleaner and I don’t think they had been checked prior to our arrival.
We thought the rooms were expensive for what they were and chose not to stay for breakfast, which was an additional 12 euros per person.

C'était un endroit parfait pour nous de rester sur le chemin du retour au Royaume-Uni après des vacances de ski en Suisse car il n'était qu'à 1 heure 44 minutes de Calais. La nourriture était vraiment délicieuse au restaurant aussi! Nous avions l'un des menus à 4 plats et c'était délicieux. Vous pouvez également vous garer juste devant votre chambre, ce qui était très pratique pour charger et décharger la voitu

I stay here a few times each year. I like that the car is parked close to the room which is very convenient for transfering luggage and the 2 dogs that I travel with to my room. The restaurant is very nice. the hotel is set in some lovely grounds and great for walking with my dogs.

Great for a stopover, within about 2 hours of Calais. Free parking outside room. Nice bar and restaurant with excellent food. Clean room. Would recommend.

Très bon acceuil et équipes au top ,à l'écoute et souriantes . Un petit bémol il n'y a pas de climatisation ,ni ventilateurs dans les chambres... Des poubelles en exterieur seraient bienvenues( nous sommes venus avec notre chien,nous aurions aimé pouvoir y jeter les sacs à dejections)

Acceuil super sympa pour mon arrivé tardif. Ils ont gardé la cusine ouverte pour servir mon dîner qui était très bon - sôle meunière que je n'avais pas le courage à préparer accompli d'une façcon experte pour un voyager un peu fatigué qui a roulé 750 kil depuis l'Angleterre.

Hotel is laid out like a Motel and so all the rooms are on the ground floor, you can park your car right outside your room which avoids having to move suitcases any distance. The one thing missing is a lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Pour un première visite en soirée étape, TOUT était parfait ! Du parking imposant, à l’accueil en passant par le confort de la chambre et que dire de la qualité du repas et du petit-déjeuner mis à part TOP.
Le rapport qualité/prix est admirable.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Pot d’Étain. The staff were very attentive but we felt we were rushed during dinner.
The hotel is easily accessed from the Autoroute and parking is close to the rooms.
We would stay here again.

Seul petit soucis pendant l’utilisation de la douche, énorme variation de la température de l’eau, jusqu’à se brûler.

Le petit-déjeuner est très pauvre.
Un joury-il avait une équipe de basket et d'un seul coup le buffet était doublé et il-y-avait des oeufs.
Si non, le pain de toast était vieux, les petit pains pas frais et caoutchouté.
Les repas le soir sont (suivant otre gout) pas sufisament épicé

I have stayed at this hotel many times on my journeys between the UK and the south of France and look forward to staying there many more times in the future. The rooms are very comfortable and the grounds that surround the hotel are purfect for walking my dogs. I particulary like that I can park outside or very close to my room which makes carrying lugage to my room very easy.
I am not able to comment on the wifi because I have not used it.
